BS EN 1591-4:2013 Flanges and their joints Part 4: Qualification of personnel competency in the assembly of the bolted connections of critical service pressurized systems
Zulu Joint Integrity and Training Ltd has provided BS EN 1591-4:2013 Joint Integrity training and assessment to many top tier COMAH sites in the UK and throughout mainland Europe and South West Asia.
Training is delivered at our training and assessment centre in Bridgend, South Wales - however we can also provide training at your site throughout the UK and further afield with provision of our mobile training rig.
This course provides the knowledge and practical skills required for dismantling and assembling flanged connections in pipelines as used in the process industry (particularly hazardous Industries). Candidates will learn about the various types of joints, gaskets and bolts and lubrication as well as the necessary skills required in the use of hand torque loading and sequential tightening techniques.
Candidates will also understand the meaning of joint integrity management and the global guidelines and legislation that are required, including identification, inspection and compliance through associated documentation.
