A strong day at our new Chesterfield training centre, where Jodi Annette hosted our first ECITB TMJI10 technical tests.
The TMJI suite remains one of the most important competency measures in our industry.
As ‘Stage 2’ of the 4-part Route to Competence, it gives employers confidence that Technicians can assemble, dismantle, and verify mechanical joints safely and consistently — not just in theory, but under assessed, real‑world conditions.
As always, it’s encouraging to see candidates taking their development seriously and demonstrating the high standards our sector depends on. Our Chesterfield training centre is already proving to be an important hub for developing the workforce our industries rely on.
A great milestone for the new facility, and the first of many technical tests..
