Bolted Flange Joint Inspection (BFJI)
Bolted Flange Joint Inspection (BFJI)
The Bolted Flange Joint Inspection (BFJI) course is run in accordance with the criteria set out within the new ASME PCC-1 2022 standard.
A Bolting Inspector is an individual who performs pre-tightening as well as in-process and post-assembly inspections.
This training is where we train inspectors and supervisors about pre-tightening and tightening (including different bolting patterns); troubleshooting; inspecting and confirming the right flange components; and identifying what flange faces are compliant to the standards, which ones aren’t, and which work for relevant gaskets.
The course is a mix of theory and practical application.
Additionally, a Bolting Inspector should have good knowledge of ASME PCC-1:2022 , subject matter and site bolting procedures, requirements and any QA/QC processes.
